چکیده

Abstract The composites made of natural and synthetic fiber reinforced materials are getting attentions continuously for different engineering applications. Previously, only fibers were considered the reinforcement due to their superior mechanical properties. However, with span time also gaining popularity sustainable features. pretreatment could enhance thermomechanical performances through improving matrix interfaces. In this regard, a comparative study is conducted between glass hemp woven fabrics investigate morphological (before after tensile loads) Furthermore, properties (tensile flexural) shown improved products. Glass epoxy composite 79 (1.8) MPa strength, whereas provided 39 (1.5) MPa. case flexural characteristics, showing better strength by 196 (32.8) than that 48 (3.5). Thermal stability products was tested using TGA (Thermogravimetric analysis)/DTG (Derivative thermogravimetry) analysis found have hemp. results obtained from developed clearly reflects significant differences two types fabrics.

Hybrid Composite Laminates Reinforced with Kevlar/Carbon/Glass Woven Fabrics for Ballistic Impact Testing

Current study reported a facile method to investigate the effects of stacking sequence layers of hybrid composite materials on ballistic energy absorption by running the ballistic test at the high velocity ballistic impact conditions. The velocity and absorbed energy were accordingly calculated as well. The specimens were fabricated from Kevlar, carbon, and glass woven fabrics and resin and wer...

Multifunctional graphene woven fabrics

Tailoring and assembling graphene into functional macrostructures with well-defined configuration are key for many promising applications. We report on a graphene-based woven fabric (GWF) prepared by interlacing two sets of graphene micron-ribbons where the ribbons pass each other essentially at right angles. By using a woven copper mesh as the template, the GWF grown from chemical vapour depos...

Investigations on the Reinforcement of Mechanical Properties of Gypsum Composites Containing E-glass Woven Fabrics

Glass fiber reinforced gypsum composites are new building materials that have been used in covering interior walls. Reinforcement by means of woven fabrics as a three dimensional material is an alternative to the use of short fibers. The application of appropriate fabrics can improve mechanical properties of gypsum composites. The aim of this research article is to investigate the effect of the...

A Study on Frictional Characteristics of Woven Fabrics

We have examined the fabric-to-metal surface and fabric-to-fabric frictional characteristics (in both warp and weft directions) of a series of fabrics containing 100% polyester, 100% viscose, and P/C & P/V blends with different blend proportions. It has been observed that the normal load and the frictional force follow a logarithmic relationship for all the fabrics. The nature of fabric frictio...
